Wassup guys?
Made it back safely from SXSW. My legs are in pain and my body is weak but overall this year was a success. We got rid of a ton of the new Robot Dance Records promo CDs and found out that the new Kids At The Bar single has started hitting some of the online stores. We know you have a dollar or two to spare to buy a legit copy! Oh yeah, I guess this is where we officially announce on this blog that we started a record label. Surprise! We’ve got some killer releases coming out in the next few months that we’re super excited about. Of course, we’ll be telling you all about them on this site when the time is right.
Got a ton of good emails while I was gone so there should be some good tracks posted this week.
After you party hard all Thursday night this year at SXSW, here is how your friday will go down. First you’ll wake up, maybe pop an aspirin or 4, walk down to the nearest coffee shop and grab the drink of your choice, maybe a bagel or something to munch on, then race over to Valhallas on 7th street because we’re giving away free booze! We’re really excited about Lose Control 2 this year! It’s a massive 4 day party at SXSW this year and if you don’t go RSVP then you’re a loser.

Yesterday morning Kill Hannah‘s tour van was stolen, with the trailer full of instruments and equipment still attached. It happened in a Holiday Inn parking lot in South Philly, the same location that saw Mae’s trailer go missing last week. Kill Hannah lost everything but the clothes and toiletries they took inside for the night.
Details and a select list of stolen equipment are included below. Kill Hannah’s most ardent fans, the Kill Hannah Kollective, took the initiative to set up a relief paypal account, all contributions go towards replacing the band’s possessions: donations@killhannah.net
The band regretfully has to cancel their remaining tour dates, scheduled for the Electric Factory in Philadelphia tonight and the Nokia Theatre in New York City tomorrow. Their seventh annual “New Heart For Xmas” weekend of shows and events are still scheduled in Chicago on December 18 at Reggie’s Rock House and December 19 at Metro.
