Adam Freeland, pilule who is now just Freeland I guess, released his new single, Under Control. The track features Kurt Baumann on vocals, which on this song sounds a lot like LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy to me. The song is catchy but seems to try too hard to be wanting that indie audience while still maintaining the top 40 club feeling.

Maybe I’m just a little jaded from my only experience with meeting him. I know you were supposed to be djing after my set at SXSW and apparently no one told you it was band, dj, band, dj and so on, but don’t be a jerk about everything. Time slots were messed up and I wasn’t the guy in control. Haha… I wasn’t Under Control
