“The Journey” comes straight from okawill’s ‘Falling for You’ EP. It comes in to bat as the third song on the album and it might be our favorite one. The minimalism that’s used so expertly is paired with a retro analog sound in the synth. The combo is something special for sure, enjoy.
What a cool move to drop an instrumental with a stunning, pure-thought provoking music video to make their creative vision clear straight away. It seems like there’s been a sort of dry spell for instrumentals. We personally love them and think people need some alternatives to all of the huge lead vocals everywhere. So.. this […]
We just heard the new Carter Reeves and it’s got a pure summer-time vibe. The single is titled “Grey Area” and with the lyric’s context you might know what he’s talking about. I can definitely relate. But the hard topic put alongside an easy going, care free sound gives a really cool perspective. Some times […]
Got a nice song here for you. It’s one of my favorite chill-out gems I’ve heard in minute. Haunted Days is the name of the group and their new single, “May I have This Dance” has a spooky music video to go with it as well. Get ready for a darker sort of Lo-Fi style […]
Lili Kendall has a new song out titled “love, herself.” It starts with a filtered guitar intro which sets a super soulful vibe. Then her vocal lead quickly cuts in and matches up perfectly. We love the overall mix on every aspect in this song. And a beautiful official music video is exactly how you […]
This song just released by Half an Orange is killing us with it’s lush synthetic soundscapes and infectious melodies. It’s called, “Buzz Lightyear” and the half robotic/half heartfelt main vocal is a highlight for us. But listen in for yourself, there’s a lot to like on the single.
Recently two Swedish artists from the same hometown teamed up for an indie-pop collaboration. “How Did I Find You” has a modern feel and a touch of Swedish pop finesse, so the music is on point. If you didn’t think it could get any better than that, well now we have a spot-on music video […]
Really digging a new song by an up and comer who goes by, Godwin. It’s called “i know” and features electronic, hip hop and soul influences. Those alongside his vocals give you a wonderful, spaced-out relaxation. Peep it right here, you won’t be disappointed. https://soundcloud.com/godwinofficial/i-know-3
Twin Caverns’ “Regret” might be your next obsession. Low key, hazy, washed out…you might describe it as both very tasteful and very experimental indie music. Definitely keep eyes on the Sydney band, seems like only great things ahead.
