The official DRONES video is out today + the rest of the DRONES remixes!
Night Drive is the type of music you would hear on a car stereo if Giorgio Moroder and Ray Bradbury were driving late at night through a buzzing metropolis. Inspired by bygone era of glamour and excess, kalioscopic neon lights, Studio 54 and Tony Wilson’s Hacienda, the band pulls influence from acts such as Brian Eno, New Order, OMD, The Drums and LCD Soundsystem to name a few. Night Drive rides a nu-wave of fast-tempoed, synth-based electronic sounds driven by rich guitar melodies and arresting vocal hooks.

Recently, master of DJ stage antics, Steve Aoki, remixed the classic of all classics – Duran Duran’s song Hungry Like The Wolf. It’s now turned into a super mega festival stadium rave anthem that will have you feeling like you’re dancing in slow motion while confetti falls all around you. You know, just like all the festival videos!
Trident Gum threw a party for 3000 special fans to see Duran Duran & Steve Aoki perform live. I don’t really think they knew about it though.
What are some collaborations you’d like to see some day? Deadmau5 + Snoop Lion? Crizzly + Taylor Swift? Dethklok + Tiesto?! Warrant + Megadeath? Whoa. That’s too far. I vote for all of the above!

It’s Tuesdayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! The weather is finally cooling down a little here in Oklahoma. By a little I mean it’s still in the upper 90s but at least its not breaking 100 anymore, or even 115.
Summer’s almost over and we’re almost to my favorite time of year, FALL! I love jacket weather.
Here’s a couple summer heaters that you can enjoy a sip of iced tea or lemonade while spilling it all over the dance floor.

While not electronic dance music, Broncho are probably my current favorite band from Oklahoma. Not really giving a fuck is what they do best. I guess that is why I like most of the bands from the Norman area. They all give less fucks than the rest, and kick ass while doing it. Broncho are coming to a town near you, so don’t be a music snob and go hear some rock and roll!
