So if you don’t know we started a kickass new monthly party called SHORT CIRCUIT at this rad pizza place (Sauced) in the Paseo Arts District. Its awesome for three reasons 1) ALL AGES! 2) THERE’S PIZZA 3) VIDEOBOOTH - so if you can’t go cause you don’t live in OKC just pay attention to #3 because its posted below. Thanks to everyone who jumped in there and made it interesting. It was my first time using iMovie, so give me a break if you think it sucks. The next one will be better. I forgot to credit the music so if you didn’t recognize it, it’s Justices’ Phantom Pt. II (Boys Noize Unreleased Turbine). Anyways, enjoy. The next Short Circuit is MAY 17TH, same bat time, same bat place.

Here’s another (that’s right, a second) video from Justice for “Phantom Pt. II”, directed by Daniel Bloomberg. I can’t say it really fits the song, but its fun watching it the first time around.

This video is pretty awful. A band, dancing kids, and desaturated colors… wow, you just blew my mind! Seriously? For how long this song has been killing dance floors, as well as other jams from DIOYY, I would think they could find someone with a good vision for a video. At least save some money and do it yourself. Get some ‘real’ footage, not what I just saw.
Send this one back and ask for a refund.

This is just one man’s opinion. 
Also I’m on a lot of Nyquil. Sorry. 

I do love the jams though. As long as they keep pumping them out I’ll keep listening… but probably won’t be watching.

Love Motel. This reminds me of high school a lot. I remember a time before blogs or iTunes or even Napster when we relied on magazines, random underground live concerts, and word of mouth to find new music. Love Motel is something I would have treasured at the time. Now times have changed and my music taste is different but I still have a spot in my heart for electronic rock type stuff. I know that this isn’t exactly what music was like back then but it reminds me of it so much.

Their bio states: “Love Motel describes « his » 21st century through the eyes of a bunch of lost souls (wasted nerds, repentant machos, TV addicts, sadistic gigolos, former dictators and naughty astronauts) looking for salvation.”

See? That’s something a late 90s band would have written. Pre-electroclash.
