I don’t normally post mashups but when I do its something as great as this. PrototypeRaptor gives us an epic 8 minutes and 45 seconds of a mega mashup / bootleg / remix / edit of his favorite tracks from Wolfgang Gartner’s new album, Weekend In America.

New York City’s rising House producer, MORSY turns up the heat with his debut EP entitled “Brooklyn Bigroom”. Combine his fascination for house music with growing up around Caribbean neighborhoods in Brooklyn and you can hear the roots of Morsy’s tropical dance influences. Expect thumping collaborations with the talented NASTY NESS & TUNISIA (aka DJ Desim) in this dancefloor ready party package, exclusively recorded in Brooklyn at Morsy’s “Nana Chill” Studio.

For the past 5 years, Wednesdays, for me, has been the night to party. To listen to the craziest dance music, drink copious amounts of alcohol, be around friends and just have fun. Over the past few years we have gotten to rage with some awesome people, and both Midnight Conspiracy & The Chaotic Good have graced us with their presence! This track is no exception to the Wednesday go hard rule. I’ll most likely be playing it tonight at ROBOTIC. I’m posting this early today to help set the mood for the rest of your day.

Silenx is Joel Azevedo, an electronic music producer from Braga, Portugal. His music is heavily 80’s Synthesizer Funk influenced Dreamwave. One minute you are treated to a slap bass frenzy and squelchy Moog lead lines, the next it’s dark, deep synth soundtrack stuff. Complex and analog sounding, Silenx’s productions are the perfect 80’s soundtrack tunes. With a dark undercurrent the tracks have a driving, exciting edge to them. ‘Far Far Away’ especially shows Joel to have an awesome knack for layering sounds in just the right places.

The once mega-ultra kings of the dance music scene lost a few die hard fans when, on their last album, they decided to have top 40 singers rape their music with uneventful lyric work. Or maybe that’s just my personal opinion…
MSTRKRFT seemed to redeem themselves a little bit with the release of Back in the USSA & Beards Again. Both tracks I have grown to be a big fan of.
Although still new on the scene, Rule Of Eight has already defined his own sound in the few remixes he has done for people such as Ocelot, Gosteffects, Beatpunks, Crystal Vision, and more that are all coming out soon. You can hear his 2011 preview on his soundcloud. Oklahoma has been known to put out some great ‘underground’ electronic acts and Rule Of Eight should now be added to that growing list. Go add him on facebook, twitter, & soundcloud!
