Wallpaper. just released their debut full length at the end of September and people are now buzzing about the Oakland duo. With several sold out west coast release shows, an SF Weekly cover feature, and a victory on mtvU’s The Freshmen, Wallpaper. is poised for huge success. The next big stop: CMJ music festival, where Wallpaper. will transform the main stage at Webster Hall into the funky dance party the duo are known for. This performance is not to be missed as the duo, for the night, will become a 6-piece band. The only chance to catch this performance on the east coast, will be to attend this very special show on Friday, October 23rd.
Known for their remixes of “Sleepyhead” and “Combination Pizza Hut & Taco Bell”, Wallpaper. is now being remixed by others, including Dim Mak’s Them Jeans, HalfStyle (winner of the first Wallpaper. remix contest), and Kid Static (who was part of the collaboration on “Pool Party”, along with The Mae Shi’s Jacob Safari).
