Fresh out of the oven, Chewy Chocolate Cookies new EP Delicatessen #1 (Available now on Beatport) is the first in a new series of EPs to be released by the group where they focus more on experimenting with different styles of music than delivering the hard hitting electro that they are normally accustomed to putting out.

While still a hard track, This is massive finds a cleaner overall sound when you compare to the dirty electro that you would normally find with the cookies.

Chicago’s sons, Kill Hannah, have a new album coming out soon and are currently touring the country playing out a lot of new tracks. I recently caught them here in OKC playing with some not so great bands that I won’t mention… but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t go see them if they come to your town.
The stuff from the new album sounds like its going to bring new life to the band. One huge reason is a big studio addition for the album. Kill Hannah had flown in our very own John Bourke, of Trash Yourself. John was brought in to add some spice with his synth and production talents which you will notice a lot of on this track.

Robot dance flash mob?

The girls coordinating this flash mob wanted us to help spread the word and how could we resist? Check out there website at robogals.org. What they’re doing is pretty cool.

Robogals Inc. is a not-for-profit organization, which aims to increase the number of girls undertaking science, engineering and technology courses at university. This is done by training university students in LEGO robotics and then having them go to primary schools to teach school girls what they have learnt.

Anyways, here’s the info. You can also go to the facebook event to follow what’s going on with the whole dance.

Inside Out Boy‘s remix for Classixx just caught me by surprise. It definitely starts out epic as stated by the remix title. I was expecting a huge boom into the track but was greeted by what I thought was going to be a disappointment. Still finding myself listening to the track though it eventually goes in to a very nice upbeat track that will definitely get people heading to the dance floor in no time.

Ok so one of my favorite tracks of the 80s is Rockwell’s Somebody’s Watching Me and I was quite surprised when I was browsing threw the tracks I got sent last week and I ran across two tracks reminiscent of the classic keyboard riff from this song.

The first track by Teh Intwerweb kids is a complete riff rip but with a completely gangster – electro facelift
