New Neon Indian!!

The nameless duo Neon Indian has released a new track! This stuff definitely falls under the newly coined term “Dream Wave” that’s being thrown around a lot lately. I got great feedback on the last tracks I posted from them, and I think this track is even better. This one is a little more polished and upbeat than the tracks from the previous post. It’s most likely the single on their soon to be released EP. If we had a ratings system, I’d give this one 4.9999 out of 5 robots.

Square Frames was born out of our frustration with modern dance production, which tended to favour software synthesizers and plugins above true analog sound. Stocking up on Joe Meek Compressors, Neumann Microphones, analog synthesizers, and a host of outboard gear, we built a small studio in Chicago’s Ukrainian Village with the intent of the producing remixes that we would want to play out ourselves.

It looks like our web server blew up last night and some stuff might have been lost. looks to be only from april 7th until now so we didn’t lose too much. Sending the webhost a message to see if it really is gone or not. The zshare and yousendit links will still work but the post pictures and audio player links are down for now. We will keep everyone posted. <3

Received an email from support around noon. Apparently they are still restoring files. But seeing that is almost 5 hours later I wonder if everything will really be restored.

I am proud to say that I am probably one of the few people left in the United States that have never actually listened to the original version. Sure, I’ve heard clips on commercials or television shows or radio and the such but I have never sat down and fully soaked in this song.
With that said I thought that I should really post this. Owl Vision has yet to disappoint me.
