I’ve been really thinking, since I haven’t had the radio up since I made the move, should I just shut it down? We have some great listeners that are always connected but it just doesn’t seem to be worth the time/money. The blog would still be updated and this has nothing to do with DRD!’s position on life… just the radio. If the people that read this blog still want the radio to broadcast please let us know.
Also, a bunch of asian websites are linking directly to our mp3s. I will have my revenge.
These asians know what they’re doing:
Lots of pictures from our magical show at DFEST are on the myspace!
Only 2 more Robotic Wednesdays until our 1 year anniversary! Blake Miller of Moving Units / Weird Science will be here!
The quickest way of keeping up with us is through our myspace. Add us as friends.
Speaking of DFEST, we didn’t post anything on here about that. We’d like to thank DFEST for having us, Jeremy Dawson of Shiny Toy Guns, Greg Corner of Kill Hannah, all the Oklahoma City kids for coming up, Soundpony, Callupsie, The Neopolitans, Stevedore, everyone that came and saw us on saturday and danced their faces off, and everyone else that need thanks.
It’s been a really long time since I’ve listened to Electrocute. I am too busy looking for the next new thing that I tend to forget about the classics. I wouldn’t go and get too excited about this though, the video is cute but the song is weak. I still want to hang out with you girls though. I’ll be in LA soon, give me a call!
Cajun Dance Party is pretty rad. I can’t wait until the album hits at the end of this month. Here is what The Sunday Times say about them:
“CDP are worth the fuss. Their music - Belle and Sebastian with backbone - is so good, so fully formed, and liable to make confirmed grouches dance like loons, that the dates on their birth certificates are irrelevant, other than to make you wonder what a band this great now is capable of.”

I want to say sorry about the radio still being down. The past week or so has been crazy. Parties, moving, trying to get sleep… blah blah. Now we need to run some cables to the radio computer. Ugh.
